Asakasa Keyaki Walk 11th Nordic Walking Health Promotion Festival (「朝霞けやきウォーク」 第11回 ノルディック・ウォーク健康増進フェスタ)

The Musashi Front Asaka Festival invites participants to explore the harmonious blend of historical landmarks, natural beauty, and urban landscapes that define this unique region. This year's event features four courses: 12km, 8km, 5km, and a beginner lesson plus a 2km run. Each course offers a chance to experience early winter in its fullest form as runners navigate through both city streets and scenic outskirts.
A highlight of the festival is the presence of iconic "Keiyaki" trees, which are symbols of Asaka. These beautiful trees carry meanings of good fortune, health, and longevity, adding an extra layer of significance to your journey along their shaded paths.
The event aims to promote and expand awareness of Nordic Walking (NW), a fitness activity that combines walking with the use of specially designed poles. Through collaboration between local government bodies, businesses, and community groups, this festival not only introduces NW but also fosters a sense of community among participants. Join us for an experience that promises both health benefits and joy, contributing to making Asaka a safer and more enjoyable place for everyone.
Join the Musashi Front Asaka Festival on December 6, 2026, to embrace this unique blend of exercise, culture, and camaraderie.
