À propos de l’événement

Race Beyond Limits est honoré de perpétuer la tradition de la famille Bird et de devenir les nouveaux hôtes du 18e marathon annuel des anciens combattants, un superbe événement rendant hommage aux anciens combattants de notre pays. Située au cœur du nord-est de l'Indiana, Columbia City est une petite communauté avec de véritables valeurs Hoosier. C’est une communauté enracinée dans son patrimoine agricole, renforcée par son développement commercial et résidentiel et fière de ses héros locaux.

Cette année, en l'honneur de tous nos anciens combattants, le marathon des anciens combattants rendra hommage à l'armée pour sa 18e édition. Une partie des bénéfices de l'événement sera reversée à des œuvres caritatives locales pour vétérans. Le parcours suivra le même parcours qu'il a suivi ces dernières années et il reste un Boston Qualifier !

8 h 00 HNE pour le marathon
8 h 00 HNE pour le semi-marathon

*Les coureurs du marathon devront être en mesure de terminer le premier parcours avant 11h15. S'ils ne sont pas de retour pour commencer la deuxième boucle à ce moment-là, ils seront ramenés à la distance du semi-marathon, car nos permis exigent la réouverture d'une partie des routes à ce moment-là.

Heure de fin :
Le semi-marathon et le marathon complet se terminent à 14h00 HNE.

Après la course :
Les festivités d'après-course comprendront des soupes chaudes et d'autres rafraîchissements pour les coureurs et des récompenses par groupe d'âge pour les 2 premiers de chaque catégorie d'âge.
