The day begins with the option for participants to pick up their start numbers from 2:00 PM onwards. At 3:00 PM, three trail distances—5 km, 10 km, and 15 km—are set to go live on Landgoed Zonheuvel, featuring mostly unpaved terrain marked with arrows and reflective tape for easy navigation.
After the day trails conclude around sunset, runners can enjoy an optional pasta buffet from 5:00 PM to 6:15 PM. The evening continues with a Trailtheater presentation at 6:30 PM, hosted by Tim van der Veer and Shiva Zanoli, featuring inspiring talks from notable figures in the trail running community.
The night trails start promptly at 8:30 PM for both 5 km and 10 km routes. The 10-kilometer route consists of two laps around a scenic loop, while the 15-kilometer distance offers three loops through the enchanting heathlands under starlit skies.
Participants will find refreshment stations along the way with drinks and snacks. Upon finishing their race, runners can collect awards at the Maarten Maartenshuis podium by midnight for those who place first in their gender category during the night trail event.
The entry fee of €37.50 includes access to both trails or just one distance, plus admission to Trailtheater. Early-bird discounts are available until November 30th. Don't miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in a memorable running experience combined with engaging entertainment and stunning Dutch scenery.
