XV IRISASI BTT

On January 30, 2027, the XVI IRISASI BTT race will take place in Andatza. This non-competitive trek is designed for participants to enjoy the scenic mountain trails and warm community atmosphere of the area. The event offers two routes: a longer, more technical option and a shorter route tailored for enjoyment by all skill levels.
Throughout the course, runners can expect well-stocked aid stations with plenty of refreshments. At the finish line in the town's fronton (sports pavilion), participants will find additional treats such as pintxos, caldo, and beer to celebrate their accomplishment. This year marks a special addition: a communal meal for all who complete the race.
In another highlight, runners can collect prizes from raffle draws at the finish line by checking posted numbers on the wall near the fronton entrance. The first 500 registrants will receive a commemorative T-shirt; however, those signing up after December 11 must choose their size upon picking up their bibs.
Registration is available online through Kronoak.com until January 29 at 9:30 AM, with a waitlist for last-minute cancellations. On race day, new registrations will not be accepted as the event typically reaches full capacity well in advance. For minors participating under adult supervision, detailed consent forms must be submitted to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment.
This year’s IRISASI BTT promises an unforgettable experience for both seasoned cyclists and casual riders alike, all set against the backdrop of Andatza's stunning natural beauty.
