XLI SAN SILVESTRE DONOSTIARRA

The San Silvestre Donostiarra race takes place on December 31, 2026, starting at 2:00 PM from Easo Kalea. Registration costs €15 and can be completed online up to three days before the event for €20; children under 18 run free with an adult registration.
Participants must collect their race packets on December 30th between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM at Amara Zaharra's front entrance. The race features a single category for both male and female runners, with bib numbers provided to all competitors along with the event t-shirt.
Awards include a hat and €400 Super Amara trophy for first place; a "gabonetako oparitxoa" (a traditional Basque prize) plus an additional €250 Super Amara trophy for second, followed by similar prizes descending to fifth place. In addition, the race offers smaller awards for runners who complete the course in under 40 minutes.
The event is known for its festive atmosphere and scenic route through Donostia-San Sebastián's historic center, making it a highlight of the city’s pre-New Year celebrations.
Runners will enjoy a mix of urban streets and lively neighborhoods as they race towards the finish line. The course features unique Basque traditions and vibrant local support along its entire length, creating an unforgettable experience for all participants.
