Immerse yourself in the stunning beauty of Wales as Pegasus Ultra Running presents its 10th Anniversary edition of the Wye Valley Ultra Marathon (WYVUM) on March 6, 2027. This trail race winds through the picturesque landscapes between Chepstow and Monmouth along the serene banks of the River Wye. The route is dotted with historical landmarks such as the majestic ruins of Tintern Abbey and ancient woodlands that offer a journey steeped in history. For those looking for a more manageable distance, the WYVUM HALF provides an ideal option, allowing you to experience the breathtaking scenery without committing to the full 30-mile trek. Both routes are perfect preparation for the Stable Adventures Wild Horse South Wales 200 as they cover part of its initial stretch. As part of Pegasus's inclusive and supportive ethos, runners can also participate in the PEGASUS SLAM by completing at least six races from a selection that includes WYVUM, HAYUM, HOWUM, CRANUM, PIGUM, PENUM, RUDUM, among others. Completing this challenge earns you access to exclusive benefits such as discounted entry fees, a prestigious finisher's memento, and entrance into the Hall of Fame. Don't miss out on becoming part of the PEGASUS SLAM WhatsApp group where dedicated support awaits, or the chance to join in the legendary Pegasus Secret Race. Register now for an unforgettable ultra-running experience that celebrates everything Wales has to offer.

About Chepstow
Learn more about the host city, Chepstow.
Chepstow is an ancient market town and former port situated on the River Wye in South Wales a short distance upstream from where the Wye and Severn rivers merge. A Norman castle founded in 1067 stands at the water's edge. A considerable portion of the massive town wall remains intact as does the Town Gate which provides access from the west. Until the bypass was built a few years ago, access from the east was limited to John Rennie's cast iron 1816 bridge across the river Wye.
