WXT Ultra

The WXT Ultra is set to challenge runners with a rugged and scenic course through Washington Crossing Park, New Jersey. This year's race begins and concludes near the Camp Grounds and soccer fields off Bear Tavern Road due to ongoing Visitor Center construction.
Participants will encounter diverse terrain starting with 7.5 miles of single-track trails within Washington Crossing Park before transitioning onto short road sections. The 50K route continues beyond this initial stretch, crossing Church Road into BaldPate State Park for a unique experience on Pleasant Valley Rd and Dry Run Creek Trail.
A highlight is the Rock Hopper trail segment, where runners traverse technical terrain characterized by blue, red, and orange trails that cross over power lines. This challenging section requires careful navigation as participants make their way in and out of this demanding stretch before heading back to Washington Crossing Park via Route 518.
Throughout the race, aid stations are strategically placed near key points such as the Nature Center in Washington Crossing Park, BaldPate’s Pleasant Valley Rd lot, and at the trailhead for Rock Hopper. Runners must adhere to strict cut-off times: reaching Rock Hopper by 11:30 AM or facing a final departure from this technical area no later than 2:30 PM.
