The Warbird 50k and the 1/2 marathon will start on Saturday morning, March 20th at 8am. You’ll have the opportunity to see many of the 100 mile finishers on course as they are finishing their event. The 1/2 Marathon runners will complete an out and back course and pick up a turnaround token at the halfway point. The 50k route will be a lollipop loop that will tie into the 100 miler course and you will run the last 20 miles of the course with them. The Warbird 100 battle will begin on Friday March 19th at 7am. Our team has put together a large back country loop that throws a mix of everything at you. Long climbs, steep climbs, techincal ups and downs, beautiful ridge sections, streams and rivers, gravel roads, a couple short road sections, and memories that you'll never forget. Come prepared as this route is incredibly hard and said to be one of the harder hundred milers in the country. Will you step on to this eastern Kentucky battle field and face the trenches? Do you have what it takes to hard charge these cold mountain streams in the late winter? Do you have have what it takes to earn the WARBIRD BUCKLE? Come find out March 19th.
