Set against the backdrop of Portugal’s picturesque central region, the AZtrail Association presents the awe-inspiring Vouga Trail. This trail running extravaganza is hosted by Sever do Vouga and promises to captivate runners with its breathtaking scenery and challenging terrain. The event features two distinct races: the UPHILL Vouga and the Vouga Trail Green Stag3s, each offering unique experiences for participants.
The UPHILL Vouga race takes athletes on a thrilling ascent through verdant landscapes, where every step is rewarded with panoramic views of rolling hills and lush valleys. Runners will encounter steep climbs that test their endurance while providing exhilarating moments of triumph as they reach the summit.
In contrast, the Vouga Trail Green Stag3s invites runners to explore winding trails through dense forests and along tranquil riverside paths. This race showcases the area’s natural beauty with its verdant greenery and serene waterways, creating a peaceful yet invigorating environment for trail enthusiasts.
Both races are designed not only to challenge participants physically but also to immerse them in the region's rich culture and stunning vistas.
