VIRADA DE CALÉNA

Join the festive atmosphere of Calena for La Virada de Calena, an annual community race organized by Team Rimplas. The event offers free entry and individual participation across various age categories. Race day activities begin at 4:00 PM with on-site registration until all bibs are claimed. For children aged between 7 to 9 years old, the course features a half lap of 600 meters through the village streets. Older participants from ages 10 and up will compete in one or more laps around a 1200-meter loop depending on their age group. The main event kicks off at 5:30 PM for adults with categories ranging from cadets to masters, each completing five loops of the scenic route through Calena’s charming streets. This family-friendly race is not just about speed but also enjoying the camaraderie and spirit of competition in a beautiful setting.
