Villa Gallina-løbet 2027

Step into the picturesque Hesede Skov for Villa Gallina-løbet on August 28, 2027, one of Denmark's longest-running and most beloved races. Spanning three distinct distances—5.8km, 9.7km, and 12.8km—the event winds through the lush, rolling terrain of this enchanting forest near Copenhagen.
The race starts and finishes at Villa Gallina, an elegant estate that sets a charming backdrop for runners crossing the finish line to receive medals and refreshments. Along the course, participants will encounter water stations strategically placed throughout the route, ensuring they stay hydrated as they navigate the varied landscapes filled with dense woods and gentle hills.
Villa Gallina-løbet welcomes everyone from elite athletes seeking challenges on its hilly terrain to families and seniors looking for a leisurely stroll through nature. Since 1977 (with brief pauses due to the pandemic), this race has celebrated runners of all ages, offering prizes for top male and female finishers as well as under-15 competitors across each distance.
Race day amenities include portable toilets at both start and finish areas, free parking nearby, and a festive atmosphere with volunteers cheering on participants. For those interested in commemorating the event, t-shirts are available for purchase until August 9th via the official Facebook page: www.facebook.com/VillaGallinaLoebet.
