VII CORRIDA E CAMINHADA DE PREVENÇÃO AO CÂNCER DE MAMA

On October 18, 2026, the Brazilian Society of Mastology - Rio de Janeiro Region will host the VII Pink Ribbon Race and Walk to raise awareness about breast cancer prevention. Held at Parque das Figueiras near Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas in Rio de Janeiro, this non-competitive event offers a scenic route through lush greenery for both runners and walkers.
Participants can choose between two distances: a 4km walk/run or a more challenging 7.5km run along the picturesque lakefront paths. The race aims to promote healthy lifestyles and encourage physical activity as part of cancer prevention measures.
Registration fees range from R$80.00 for early bird sign-ups to R$90.00 later on, with an additional online processing fee included. Kit pickup details will be announced closer to the event date at designated locations.
On race day, participants can expect a vibrant atmosphere filled with supporters cheering along the course and celebrating the importance of breast cancer awareness. The 7.5km run starts at 7:30 AM followed by the 4km walk/run beginning at 7:45 AM from Parque das Figueiras.
