CORRIDA E CAMINHADA OUTUBRO ROSA

On October 11, 2026, runners and walkers gather at Posto 12 near number 18,000 on Avenida Lúcio Costa in Recreio dos Bandeirantes for the Corre Assessoria Esportiva event. This scenic race offers both a 5 km run and walk along an officially marked course that winds through the vibrant coastal area of Rio de Janeiro. Participants can expect clear instructions from sound systems to ensure smooth transitions, making it easy for everyone to navigate the route.
The atmosphere is electric as runners start at different times based on their category, with a special PCD (People with Disabilities) group starting early at 7:25 AM. The race and walk are open rain or shine, emphasizing that no weather will deter this community event from taking place.
Registration for the event can be completed online via links provided on Corre Eventos' website and social media platforms, where you'll find detailed information about payment methods and kit pick-up options at Decathlon Barra da Tijuca.
Competitors in the 5 km run face a competitive field with awards given to top male and female finishers overall as well as by age group. The event promises an engaging day of sport and community, celebrating fitness while enjoying one of Rio's most picturesque locations.
