Vet'o Trail
About the event
The Vét'o Trail invites greyhound enthusiasts and their canine companions for an unforgettable adventure through the breathtaking Monts-du-Lyonnais region near Lyon. Organized by veterinary students from Marcy-l’Étoile, this unique race offers three challenging distances: 6 km (Chihuahua), 12 km (Border Collie), and a technical 20 km course named Saint Bernard. Each route features diverse terrain including fields, shaded trails, and climbs to the Col de la Croix de Ban for stunning views of Lyon.
Participants will enjoy crossing scenic landscapes while testing their endurance alongside their furry friends. The event celebrates all things canine with an agility competition showcasing dogs' talents and a sponsors’ village featuring dog-related products and trends. After the race, runners can unwind along the Rhône riverbanks or in Parc de la Tête d’Or, indulging in Lyon’s famous quenelles and praline tart for post-race energy.
The Vét'o Trail is more than just a run; it's an experience that strengthens human-canine bonds amidst natural beauty.
