About the event
On Veterans Day, November 14, 2026, runners of all ages are invited to participate in the Brotherhood Bridge Run. The race offers two distance options: a challenging 4.25-mile course and a shorter one-mile option for those looking for an easier start or finish line celebration with family. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m., allowing ample time to warm up before the 10:00 a.m. start.
The event kicks off from the Brotherhood Bridge Parking Lot, setting runners on a scenic route that winds through historic neighborhoods and along picturesque waterfront paths. Participants can expect an atmosphere of respect and camaraderie as they honor veterans while supporting VFW Taku Post 5559 with their entry fees. Online pre-registration is encouraged but race day registration will also be available for those who prefer to sign up on the spot.
