Ultra Paine

Ultra Paine®, inaugurated in 2014 as the first trail-running event in Torres del Paine National Park and Southern Patagonia, Chile, returns annually in September. This year’s edition on September 25, 2027, promises to be a spectacular journey through some of Earth's most pristine landscapes. Nestled near Puerto Natales, just north of Punta Arenas, the race offers runners an unparalleled experience with routes ranging from 5Km to 50Km. Participants will traverse diverse terrains, including lush forests and rugged mountains, all while being enveloped by the majestic backdrop of Torres del Paine National Park’s iconic peaks.
The event attracts trail runners from over 40 countries who come together for a unique adventure in one of Patagonia's most breathtaking settings. Whether you're an experienced mountain runner or just starting out, Ultra Paine® offers something special with its challenging yet accessible courses that showcase the beauty and diversity of Western Patagonia’s natural wonders.
The race route winds through areas close to the park but outside it, providing a scenic journey across varied landscapes near the Southern Ice Field. This event is more than just a run; it's an immersion into one of the world’s last great wildernesses, where every step reveals new vistas and challenges that test your limits while rewarding you with unforgettable views.
