Patagonian International Marathon

The Patagonian International Marathon®, established in 2012 as the first marathon to grace Torres del Paine National Park, invites runners from over 65 countries to its breathtaking setting each September. Nestled near Puerto Natales, a city situated just north of Punta Arenas, this event unfolds at an awe-inspiring latitude of 51° south in Western Patagonia. Participants traverse pristine landscapes bordering the Great Southern Ice Field and within the enchanting confines of Torres del Paine National Park.
The marathon offers classic distances including 42km (marathon), 21km (half-marathon), and a scenic 10km run, with some editions featuring an ultra-distance option.
