Turkey Trot-Noble County YMCA

Join us for an early Thanksgiving morning tradition at the Noble County Family YMCA on Thursday, November 26th, 2026! The Turkey Trot offers two race options: a scenic 1 Mile Fun Run starting at 7:30 am and a more challenging 5K event kicking off just after sunrise at 8:00 am. Both races are designed to cater to all ages and abilities.
Participants can register for the 5K run, which includes an early bird discount of $35 per person until October 31st; afterward, the registration fee increases to $40 but still guarantees a race t-shirt (no guarantee after Oct 30). The 1 Mile Fun Run offers similar pricing with an early bird rate of $25 and a regular price of $30 post-October 31.
Packet pickup for both races will be available on November 25th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Noble County YMCA, or race day starting at 6:30 am until 7:25 am. Whether you're running in person or participating virtually, your contribution supports a worthy cause.
The Turkey Trot is more than just a run; it's an event that brings together families and friends to start Thanksgiving morning with fitness and community spirit. The race course winds through the heart of Perry, offering runners beautiful views of Noble County as they make their way along the route.
All proceeds from this year’s event will benefit The Tim Hight Food Program, a local initiative aimed at providing free access to healthy snacks and meals for youth in our community throughout the entire year. By participating or donating, you're helping ensure that children facing food insecurity can have consistent access to nutritious foods.
