On October 29, 2026, runners are invited to participate in L'Halloween du coureur at Lac-Beauport. This unique orienteering race takes place through the winding trails of Parc du Brûlé and Parc de l'Éperon, offering teams of two or three a thrilling adventure filled with mystery and excitement.
Teams will receive GPS waypoints 15 minutes before the start, forming an 8 to 10-kilometer course that challenges navigational skills and knowledge of the terrain. The event promises spooky fun in a team setting, rewarding the fastest group with prizes while ensuring all participants enjoy treats and camaraderie after the race.
Participants must bring their smartphones loaded with the Alltrails app, headlamps for visibility during dusk hours, and costumes to get into the Halloween spirit. The meeting point is at 95 Chemin du Brûlé where teams will gather by 6:00 PM before setting off on a spooky adventure at 6:20 PM.
After the race, runners can enjoy refreshments such as beer and candy from Xact, along with chips, sauna access, and live music. Don't forget to bring an extra costume or change of clothes if needed for this memorable evening event.
