The trail starts in Nature's Valley and culminates at Paul Sauer Bridge (Storms River), taking hikers through ancient Afro-montane forest, coastal thicket, fynbos, and pine plantations. Spectacular river crossings and scenic waterfalls punctuate the route, offering a blend of natural beauty and technical challenges that highlight Tsitsikamma's diverse ecosystems.
Over four days, you'll stay in cozy overnight huts positioned to maximize your connection with nature. Each hut offers communal hot showers heated by a donkey boiler system, ensuring comfort after each day’s adventures.
