Trans-Madeleine 2027

Experience the fourth edition of the Grande Traversée des Monts de la Madeleine, an epic two-day mountain bike adventure through the rolling hills and dense forests of Auvergne in Allier. This challenging course covers approximately 170 kilometers with a total elevation gain of over 5,000 meters, making it both a test of endurance and a celebration of cycling culture.
The route features iconic peaks such as the summit of La Loge des Gardes at more than 1,100 meters above sea level and the Puy de Montoncel reaching an impressive height of 1,287 meters. Cyclists will traverse through charming villages, dense woodlands, and breathtaking viewpoints that offer panoramic vistas.
Starting on Saturday, April 24, 2027, at Espace Chambon in Cusset, the race begins with a group departure at 8:30 AM sharp. Participants are accommodated at the internat du lycée Claude Mercier in Mayet-de-Montagne for both nights of the event.
