Trail et marche nordique du Haras National d'Hennebont

Set against the picturesque backdrop of Hennebont's historic Haras National, this trail race series offers runners and walkers an enchanting blend of natural beauty and challenging terrain. The main attractions include two trail running events: a 7.7 km course that is relatively flat and suitable for less experienced participants, and a more demanding 15 km route with rolling hills and stretches along scenic paths.
In addition to the trails, there's also an official departmental-level Nordic Walking event over 12 kilometers on moderately hilly terrain, complete with timed segments. This race is strictly regulated by FFA rules, requiring runners to present either a competition license or a leisure license for proper classification and penalty application.
For those looking for a more relaxed experience, there's a non-competitive 7 km Nordic Walking event focused on health and wellness, offering guidance from certified instructors and the joy of walking in groups without any competitive spirit. Participants are reminded to bring their poles and register online as no-day-of-event sign-ups are permitted.
All races start near Hennebont’s stunning Haras National site, a 19th-century equestrian center with its living museum showcasing horses, stables, and lush greenery. The trails wind through the beautiful Blavet Valley, offering scenic views at every turn.
Competitors should bring their own water bottles as there will be hydration points along each route but no disposable cups provided to encourage sustainability efforts. Participants must also ensure they have a valid PPS (Prevention Health Path) document or an equivalent medical certificate if required by FFA regulations.
Registration is exclusively online through Klikego, and all necessary documents should be uploaded prior to the event date to avoid delays on race day. The parking area for participants is located at Poterie along the Blavet River, a short 10-minute walk from the start line.
