Trail de Brec'h returns on November 8, 2026, offering runners and hikers an exciting day of adventure through the scenic trails around Brec’h. This annual race series is part of the DOUAR ALRE challenge for 2027, making it a key event in your running calendar.
The event kicks off with departures from the Spor’ti Brec’h sports complex and concludes there as well. To ease parking congestion and reduce environmental impact, organizers encourage participants to carpool or use public transportation if possible. Make sure to bring your own reusable cup for hydration stations; no disposable cups will be provided.
Four distinct courses cater to different levels of fitness and experience:
- A 24 km run starting at 9:00 AM
- A 16 km hike beginning at 10:15 AM
- A shorter, but equally challenging 14 km march nordique (with poles) setting off at 9:30 AM
- And a family-friendly 10 km option departing at 10:30 AM
While the exact distances may vary slightly due to logistical adjustments made by organizers, each course promises an engaging mix of terrain and scenery. The routes traverse private paths that require participants to tread lightly and respect local flora and fauna. For this reason, official GPS tracks will not be released until race day.
