About the Event

On July 03, 2027, runners and hikers are invited to experience the beauty of nature at Trail du Mur Païen. This challenging trail run covers a distance of 21 kilometers with an elevation gain of 800 meters, offering breathtaking views along its route through rugged terrain.
Starting at 5:00 PM, participants will navigate steep climbs and winding paths as they make their way up the Mur Païen mountain range. The race is designed for those who enjoy a mix of technical trail running and scenic vistas, providing an unforgettable experience in one of France's most picturesque regions.
For those seeking a shorter adventure, there’s also a 13-kilometer option with an elevation gain of 530 meters that begins at 5:45 PM. This course follows part of the longer route but offers its own unique set of challenges and rewards for runners looking to experience the trail without committing to the full distance.
Additionally, two walking events are scheduled as part of this year’s festivities. A five-kilometer walk through vineyards invites participants to enjoy the region's lush landscapes at a more leisurely pace while a longer 13-kilometer hike on parts of the main race route provides an opportunity for those who prefer hiking over running.
All proceeds from these events will be donated directly towards supporting research and care initiatives aimed at fighting childhood cancers, ensuring that each step taken contributes positively to this noble cause. Join us in celebrating nature while making a difference in the lives of children battling cancer.
Experience the thrill of Trail du Mur Païen on July 03, 2027, where every stride brings you closer not only to personal achievement but also to helping those who need it most.
