Cannondale 6h de l'Anneau du Rhin

In the heart of Alsace's Haut-Rhin region, nestled between Colmar and Mulhouse, lies Biltzheim, where cyclists gather for an exhilarating 6-hour endurance challenge. The Cannondale 6h de l’Anneau du Rhin takes place on a meticulously maintained motor racing circuit that offers smooth asphalt and sweeping curves reminiscent of the Paul-Ricard track. With each lap covering over 3.6 kilometers and featuring a long straightaway and the famous "S du Sanglier" hairpin, cyclists face an undulating yet flat course with only minimal elevation gain per loop.
The event is scheduled for June 5th, 2027, under clear skies typical of Alsace's dry climate. The race concludes at dusk on a dimly lit track where front and rear lights become mandatory to navigate the final laps safely. Cyclists can choose from solo rides or team relay formats, making it an inclusive event for all skill levels.
After six hours of intense competition, cyclists are rewarded with a picturesque visit to Colmar's half-timbered houses and canals of Petite Venise, as well as nearby historical sites such as Neuf-Brisach’s star-shaped ramparts. The region also offers culinary delights like flammekueche, pretzel, and kougelhopf, perfect for fueling up after the race.
Join the Cannondale 6h de l’Anneau du Rhin to experience the thrill of cycling on one of Alsace's premier circuits while immersing yourself in its rich cultural heritage.
