Trail du Cambre d'Aze invites trail runners to experience the beauty and challenge of the Pyrenees over two days. The weekend promises an array of courses suitable for all levels, from beginners to seasoned athletes.
On Saturday, September 19, 2026, participants can tackle La Verti'Cambre, a vertical kilometer race that ascends nearly 1000 meters in less than five kilometers. This steep climb offers breathtaking views and an intense workout that tests both physical endurance and mental fortitude.
The next day, on Sunday, September 20, the event continues with two longer trail races designed to explore more of the region's stunning landscapes. The Rupicapra Trail is a shorter option at 13 kilometers, offering a climb of around 600 meters as runners navigate through varied terrain and scenic vistas.
For those looking for an extended adventure in the mountains, La Harde Trail provides a full day’s challenge with its 27-kilometer route that includes over 1700 meters of elevation gain. This race is perfect for trail enthusiasts who want to explore remote areas while enjoying panoramic views and testing their limits.
In addition to these adult races, there are children's events on Saturday afternoon starting from 2:00 PM, providing young runners with the opportunity to experience the thrill of competitive running in a supportive environment.
