Trail des lucioles

Join Rand'eau Vive's team for an enchanting evening on Saturday, December 12, 2026, as they host the "Trail des Lucioles." This limited edition race welcomes up to 499 runners and features three distinct courses designed to cater to all levels of experience.
The longest course is the Trail des Lanternes at a challenging 15 kilometers with an elevation gain of 110 meters. Runners will depart from Base Nautique de Créharer in Glomel at 6:00 PM, navigating through illuminated trails under the guidance of their headlamps or chest-mounted lights.
For those seeking a slightly shorter but equally captivating route, the Trail des Lucioles offers a 10-kilometer trek with an elevation gain of 77 meters. This course also departs at 6:00 PM and is followed closely by the more relaxed option, the Trail des Loupiotes, which spans just 6 kilometers with an ascent of 34 meters. The non-timed event allows runners to enjoy a leisurely pace or even walk parts of the route.
All participants must adhere to strict safety regulations due to the nocturnal setting: each runner is required to bring either a headlamp or chest-mounted light, which will be inspected during bib collection. Additionally, all competitors are mandated to carry at least 500 milliliters of water for hydration purposes throughout their journey.
Age restrictions apply based on the chosen distance:
- For the Trail des Loupiotes (6 kilometers), minors under 14 years must have an adult accompanying them.
- Minors aged between 13 and 15 are required to be accompanied by an adult when participating in either the Trail des Lucioles or Trail des Lanternes.
Parental authorization forms, along with a health attestation or medical certificate no older than six months if applicable, must be presented for all minors.
Registration is exclusively online via Klikego until capacity is reached; however, on-site registration will also be available starting from 2:00 PM at the Base Nautique de Créharer, where bibs can be collected upon presentation of required documentation and mandatory lighting equipment.
