Écotrail des Châteaux

On November 22, 2026, the Collège-Lycée Jean 23 de Quintin is set to host its inaugural Écotrail des Châteaux. This unique race offers runners and hikers a variety of courses through picturesque landscapes filled with historical charm.
The main event, La Traversée des 3 Châteaux, spans an impressive distance of 20 kilometers with a total elevation gain of 350 meters. Participants will depart at 9:30 AM from the school grounds and make their way across three historic châteaus. Along the route, runners can enjoy refreshments at two aid stations located at kilometer markers nine and fifteen before finishing strong.
For those seeking a shorter but equally scenic experience, La Ronde du Gouët offers 10 kilometers of rolling terrain with an elevation gain of 170 meters. Departing from the same starting point as the longer course, this race begins slightly later at 10:00 AM and includes an aid station halfway through.
Younger trail enthusiasts can also participate in the Kinder Trail, designed for children aged seven years and older. This free event allows kids to enjoy a fun run around Quintin's scenic trails with their parents or guardians. First departures begin promptly at 10:20 AM.
Additionally, there is an option for those interested in Nordic walking; this leisurely activity covers the same distance as La Ronde du Gouët but offers participants more flexibility regarding start times after 10:10 AM and includes a refreshment station upon completion.
All runners are encouraged to bring their reusable cups to reduce waste, and finishers will receive special rewards for completing any of these challenging yet rewarding courses. Online registration is mandatory for the longer events and highly recommended for Nordic walking, while on-site registration is available for the Kinder Trail.
