About the Event

The Trail Nocturne, organized by the Candas Fire Brigade to support Telethon, invites runners and hikers of all levels for an evening adventure on December 12, 2026. Participants can collect their race packets from 4:30 PM onwards at the multi-purpose hall in Candas.
The event kicks off with a simultaneous start at 6:00 PM as competitors set out into the night along illuminated trails that wind through dense woodland and forest paths. The terrain is varied, offering both challenging ascents and descents on well-marked routes designed to showcase the natural beauty of the area under moonlight.
The event features two hiking courses for those who prefer a more leisurely pace: a 7-kilometer route and an extended 9-kilometer option. For trail runners seeking greater challenges, there are four running options ranging from 7 kilometers up to a demanding 17-kilometer trek through the woods.
Participants should come prepared with appropriate footwear for rugged terrain and a headlamp is highly recommended due to limited visibility after dark. This event promises an unforgettable experience blending community spirit with breathtaking scenery under the stars.
