Trail Criú 6 Hour Challenge 2027

On February 7, 2027, runners will gather at Kippure Estate in Wicklow to tackle the scenic and challenging trails during the Trail Criú 6-Hour Challenge. This endurance race offers participants the flexibility to run as far or fast as they choose over a meticulously designed 5km looped course.
The event kicks off at 9:00am, allowing runners ample time to explore the estate's diverse terrain before concluding at 3:00pm. With en-route support stations providing water and toilets along the way, participants can focus on their personal goals whether it’s a marathon distance or venturing into ultra distances.
Event officials will track laps for all competitors, ensuring that every effort is recognized and celebrated through results posted online afterward. By participating in this event, runners not only challenge themselves but also contribute to the continued growth of Trail Criú's vibrant club community.
Safety remains paramount; therefore, severe weather conditions may necessitate postponing the race to February 21, 2027. In such cases, participants will retain their tickets for the rescheduled date without refunds available due to this being a fundraising event. The organizers prioritize ensuring that all runners can participate safely and enjoyably in the beautiful setting of Kippure Estate.
