This inclusive race welcomes runners and walkers alike, ensuring everyone can participate regardless of their pace or experience level. Scheduled for Saturday, February 20th, 2027, with a start time of 9am, the event takes place at The Last Hop in Staines, TW18 4SU. Members receive an exclusive discount on entry fees by £10 and are guaranteed race spots along with mini-medal pins for each attendance. This is a timed challenge that allows you to set your own distance goals over a period of seven hours. The minimum run is 3km, while completing three laps equals half marathon distance (approximately 4.37 miles or 7km), six laps equates to a full marathon (around 12.85 miles or 20.69km), and beyond that marks an ultra-distance effort. A shorter loop of about 3.28 miles may be implemented based on the day’s conditions. The course winds along scenic Thames paths, with clear signage guiding runners through well-maintained pathways and occasional grassy sections suitable for road shoes year-round. The route is designed to accommodate younger participants with designated turn points at 3km and 5km intervals to comply with UK Athletics guidelines. Upon completing a minimum of 3 kilometers, you'll receive an exclusive themed medal celebrating your achievement. For those who tackle the half-marathon distance or beyond, additional pins are available for each milestone: Half-Marathon, Mega-Half, Marathon, Ultra, and 50km achievements. Post-race refreshments include a selection of goodies in both standard and vegan goody bags tailored to individual preferences upon registration. The aid station at the start/finish line offers an array of drinks and snacks with vegan options included. If you're celebrating a milestone marathon or half-marathon, reach out ahead of time for personalized recognition during your race day celebration. Facilities include toilets available from 8am onwards but no changing rooms or showers are provided. Participants can change in the large downstairs restroom facilities if needed.
