The Terminator 2027

On February 28, 2027, the Pewsey Vale Running Club invites runners to participate in their challenging and scenic off-road race. This 12-mile course begins with an easy stretch across fields before escalating into a series of steep climbs and descents that test endurance and strength. The route offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside but requires participants to navigate muddy terrain, making sturdy footwear essential.
Registration takes place from 8:00 AM to 9:20 AM at Bouverie Hall in Pewsey, where runners can pick up their race numbers before heading to the start line at Cooper's Pub. Limited changing facilities and no showers are available at Bouverie Hall; however, portable toilets will be provided both there and at the finish area.
The course is 98% off-road with a strict cut-off time of one hour and forty-five minutes at the halfway mark (6.75 miles), which equates to an average pace of 15:30 per mile for completion within three hours and thirty minutes. Runners who do not meet this deadline will be transported directly to the finish line.
Prizes are awarded in individual male and female categories, with all participants receiving a unique T-shirt upon crossing the finish line at Cooper's Pub. Refreshments including cakes, beer, and water stations (bring your own cups) await runners post-race for recovery and celebration.
This event is not only a test of physical prowess but also a community fundraiser, having raised over £100,000 for local and national charities since its inception. Join Pewsey Vale Running Club in supporting this important cause while experiencing the beauty and challenge of rural Wiltshire on race day.
