The Spring Lucky Dip Run 2027

Join us for the 2027 Spring Lucky Dip Run, an inclusive and flexible race that caters to runners and walkers alike. On May 8, 2027, participants will gather at The Last Hop on Clarence Street in Staines, where they can choose from a variety of distances ranging from a minimum of 3km up to ultra marathon lengths.
The course winds along the scenic River Thames with well-marked paths and tarmac surfaces. Runners have seven hours to complete their chosen distance, allowing ample time for those aiming for longer runs like half marathons or beyond. Each lap is approximately 4.37 miles (7km), though conditions may adjust this slightly closer to event day.
Upon completing at least the minimum distance of 3 kilometers, runners will receive one of several themed medals from past events. For those who complete a half marathon or further distances, special pins are available as well. The goody bag is another highlight, offering participants a selection of treats and refreshments including vegan options.
The event features an aid table with drinks and snacks at the start/finish area to ensure runners stay hydrated and fueled throughout their run. Participants can enjoy changing facilities in the large downstairs toilets if needed, which will be available from 8am until race end.
For members who sign up early, entry fees are significantly reduced by £10 compared to full price entries. Additionally, UK Athletics affiliated club members receive a discount of £2 on their registration fee. Members also get exclusive perks such as guaranteed entry and mini-me medal pins for each event attended.
Whether you're celebrating a milestone or simply looking for an enjoyable run in beautiful surroundings, the Spring Lucky Dip Run promises to offer something special for everyone involved.
