THE RUNSEP 2026

From October 10 to 11, 2026, Normandie SEP and Solidaires en Peloton are hosting THE RUNSEP – the 10th edition of this marathon event. Spanning 24 hours, it is a unique opportunity for runners, walkers, families, and friends to come together in support of research into Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The primary objectives include raising awareness about MS among the general public, using sports and physical activity as positive communication tools, promoting the importance of exercise for those living with MS, and offering a different perspective on disability. All proceeds will benefit France Sclérose En Plaques to fund MS research.
Participants can choose from various formats:
- THE RUNSEP free: Join in at your own pace, whether solo or accompanied by family and friends.
- THE RUNSEP team: Ideal for clubs, companies, and groups of friends who wish to compete as a relay over several hours or the full 24-hour period. Each participant must register under their team name and select preferred run durations and intervals.
- TEAM RUNSEP SOLIDAIRE: Participate in a solidarity relay where teammates share runs at similar paces. The event features five teams, each comprising runners or walkers – including MS patients, caregivers, and willing participants. Teams will alternate one-hour running periods with four hours of rest.
The course is marked within the Parc, providing scenic routes for both day and night runs. For those opting to run through the night, at least two people must be together equipped with headlamps.
A special buffet will conclude the event on Sunday noon, open to all registered participants who wish to enjoy it free of charge by selecting this option during registration.
