Trail du Coq

The second edition of the Trail du Coq returns to the picturesque landscapes of Essonne on October 11, 2026. This trail race offers an inviting challenge for both novice and experienced runners alike, promising an engaging experience within a warm and authentic atmosphere.
Participants can choose between two courses:
For those seeking a more demanding route, there's the full 22 km course with an elevation gain of 430 meters, starting at 9:00 AM. This challenging trail features varied terrain including forest paths and technical trails that will test your endurance and offer stunning views.
Alternatively, runners looking for a shorter but equally dynamic experience can opt for the 11 km route with 215 meters elevation gain, kicking off at 10:00 AM. Ideal for beginners or those wanting to enjoy nature without overexerting themselves, this course still provides plenty of scenic vistas and varied terrain.
Race day registration will take place on-site at Salle polyvalente Fernand Pelletier in Mondeville (Essonne) from 7:30 AM onwards. For convenience, there's also a pre-race pick-up option available the evening before from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
On race day itself, runners will have access to secure storage for personal items and a welcoming area designed to enhance your experience. The trail offers an authentic taste of Mondeville’s natural beauty with its forested paths, rural roads, and rolling hills, all while maintaining respect for the environment.
