The Proud Run

The Proud Run, part of the 7 Deadly Sins Series, invites runners and walkers from all levels into its fold with unique challenges throughout January. Participants have up to seven hours to complete one of four distances: 5k, 10k, Half Marathon (21.1km), or Full Marathon (42.2km). This flexibility accommodates a wide range of speeds and personal goals.
For those who become members of the STRAVA Club – Every Mile Counts, registration is free but requires payment to receive a finisher's medal upon completion. The series kicks off with six daily races based on different sins: 'The Slothful Run,' ‘The Lusty Run,’ ‘The Angry Run,’ ‘The Gluttonous Run,’ and concludes with the event of interest – ‘The Proud Run’ and ‘The Envious Run.’
Set at Pengethley Manor in Ross-on-Wye, participants can use the What3words address: physical.growth.shelf for precise location details. The atmosphere promises to be lively as runners celebrate their accomplishments on this scenic course.
Virtual entry is also available, allowing individuals flexibility if they cannot make it to race day. Runners have all of January to complete their chosen distance in any environment that suits them best, ensuring no one misses out due to scheduling conflicts or travel limitations.
