The Leftovers Run

Kick off the holiday season with StartLine Racing's post-Thanksgiving fun run on November 28, 2026. This affordable and festive race offers runners of all ages an opportunity to enjoy a scenic course while burning off those Thanksgiving leftovers. Participants will receive both a finisher’s medal from a previous event and a dri-fit tech t-shirt, perfect for trading or wearing proudly.
The race features chip timing with real-time results available on the StartLine Racing website, ensuring every runner's performance is accurately recorded. The 10K and 5K courses are meticulously set by StartLine to provide an engaging experience through Kiwanis Park in Tempe.
Post-race festivities include a "brunch" of granola bars, fruit, water, and more at the finish line. Age group awards will be given out for top three male and female runners across various age brackets from 8 & Under up to 80+. The event also encourages participants to bring non-perishable food items that will be donated to Mom's Pantry.
Race day registration opens at Kiwanis Park starting at 8:00 AM, with packet pick-up available until the start of each race. Runners can enjoy a stress-free experience knowing this event is stroller, walker and leashed pet-friendly. Don't miss out on exclusive deals like $5 clearance shirts from previous events and a $5 coupon towards future StartLine Racing races.
Join us for an uplifting morning full of community spirit and friendly competition as we celebrate the start of another racing season in Arizona's vibrant Tempe area.
