About the Event

The fifth edition of the Ian Harvey Memorial Harvathon returns on September 12, 2027, honoring the legacy of a beloved community member. This inclusive lapped event offers participants seven hours to run or walk as many laps around scenic routes as they wish. Whether you're an avid runner looking for a challenge or someone who wants to enjoy a leisurely stroll, this event welcomes all abilities and paces. The Harvathon is more than just a race; it's a celebration of community spirit and mental health awareness. Proceeds from the event benefit The Thinking Hat Company, which provides vital support to young people in managing their well-being and mental health challenges.
The atmosphere at the Harvathon is warm and supportive, with participants encouraged to cheer on fellow runners and walkers as they complete laps around a course that showcases local landmarks and parks. This year's event promises to be an inspiring day filled with camaraderie and meaningful impact for those in need of mental health support.
