The Great Christmas Fun Run

Celebrate the holiday season with the Great Christmas Fun Run, returning to Mumbles for another year of festive fun and record-breaking participation. This beloved community event invites runners to don their most creative costumes and Santa hats as they kick off the 2026 holiday festivities in style.
The day begins at Oyster Wharf where registration opens at 9:00 AM, giving participants ample time to arrive and get ready for a morning filled with joy. For those joining the kids' race, be sure to register by 10:00 AM; adult runners have until 10:15 AM to complete their sign-up process.
At 10:25 AM, there will be an essential briefing session for all children participating in the 1k run. The fun begins promptly at 10:30 AM with a short out-and-back route along Mumbles' picturesque seafront promenade. Meanwhile, adult runners can look forward to starting their 5k or 10k race just after 11:00 AM.
The scenic course offers breathtaking views of the coastline and is designed for safety, ensuring participants stay on the left-hand side throughout the run while respecting other path users. Water stations will be strategically placed along the route to keep runners hydrated during their festive journey.
As the day progresses, expect the first finishers around 11:15 AM, leading up to an awards ceremony at noon where medals and prizes await those who have completed their runs with spirit and style.
