The Enchanted Ultra 50K

The Enchanted Ultra, set to unfold on August 21, 2027, is an exhilarating 50K adventure through the rugged Cheviot Hills of Northumberland. This self-navigated challenge offers runners a true mountain ultra experience with steep climbs and dramatic landscapes that are both awe-inspiring and challenging.
Participants will embark from The Cheviot Centre in Wooler at 8am, equipped with either their own GPS device or a provided waterproof map to navigate the course's iconic landmarks. Along the way, they'll encounter ancient hillforts, deep valleys, and high summits such as Humbleton Hill, Yeavering Bell, and the Cheviot summit.
With an 11-hour time limit, runners will face rugged terrain and unpredictable weather conditions while making their way through historic sites like St Cuthbert’s Way. Aid stations at CP1 Hethpool (10 miles) and CP2 Langleeford (22 miles), complete with real Coke, provide essential refreshments to sustain the journey.
Upon crossing the finish line back at The Cheviot Centre in Wooler, participants will be rewarded not only with a bespoke medal but also with a hearty meal. This event is limited to dedicated runners seeking an unforgettable ultra experience amidst some of Britain's most breathtaking scenery.
The Enchanted Ultra promises both physical and mental challenges for those ready to take on one of the UK’s toughest trail races.
