Druridge Bay Beach-Trail Runs – 2027
Experience the stunning beauty of Druridge Bay on the Northumberland Coast during this year's sixth installment of the beloved Beach-Trail Runs. This picturesque setting offers a unique blend of coastal charm and rugged terrain, making it an ideal destination for runners of all levels.
The event kicks off at Druridge Bay Country Park with routes that wind through paths, trails, and along the shoreline itself. With its flat course and breathtaking views, this race continues to be one of the most popular trail runs in the North East every year.
New this season is a 5km route designed for beginners looking to explore the world of trail running.

- Half Marathon (17+)
- 10km (15+)

The Half Marathon and 10km routes are meticulously planned to provide a challenging yet enjoyable experience, while the new 5km option offers an accessible entry point for newcomers.
Cani-cross Friendly: One controlled dog is permitted per runner.
Participants will start at different times:
- 5km – 10:30am
- 10km – 10:00am
- Half Marathon – 10:15am
Timing for the event will be provided by Timing Up North, ensuring accurate and live results.
Upon crossing the finish line, all runners are rewarded with an event medal, exclusive Wild Deer merchandise, and a snack & drink to refuel.
For those looking to commemorate their participation, T-Shirts can be purchased during registration at £14 each.
Parking is available but must be paid for either through machines on-site or via the PayByPhone App.
