The Buckie 10k - NO MEDAL ENTRY

The Buckie 10k takes place on Sunday, September 6th, 2026, starting at 10:30 AM. This Scottish Athletics-approved race begins outside The Fisherman's Hall and winds through the charming town of Buckie before heading out towards Findochty along scenic coastal paths.
Participants will enjoy a fast return route via the Moray Coastal cycle path, which offers stunning views of the coastline and rolling hillsides. A water station is strategically placed at the halfway mark to keep runners hydrated during their journey.
The event features lively music enlivening parts of the course, adding an energetic atmosphere for both competitors and spectators alike. The race concludes back in Buckie's Fisherman’s Hall where basic refreshments will be available upon crossing the finish line.
While this 10k does not come with a medal at completion, runners can look forward to awards presented to the top three male and female participants based on gun time rather than chip timing. Additional age category winners are also recognized for their achievements throughout the race.
Important rules include being over sixteen years old to participate, no use of headphones except bone conducting ones, and strict adherence to a one hour forty-five-minute cut-off period after which marshals will be withdrawn from supporting runners on course.
Registration is available at The Fisherman's Hall in Buckie between 8 AM and 10 AM on race day. Due to limited parking space within the town, car-sharing with fellow competitors is highly encouraged for those traveling by vehicle.
