Welcome to the Aberlour Parish Church for our annual AGM and Club Champs, an exciting orienteering event that brings together both seasoned members and newcomers. The day kicks off with a pre-race briefing at 11 am before participants take part in either the Junior or Open course. The Junior Course is designed specifically for young athletes aged M/W14 and under, offering them a thrilling 30-minute score challenge. For older competitors, there's an engaging 45-minute Open Course that promises to test their navigation skills across varied terrain. It’s important to note that participants under the age of 16 on the day must be supervised by a responsible adult for safety reasons. Following the completion of both courses at noon and closing time at 12:30 pm, all members are invited to stay for an informal AGM starting around 1 pm. This is a great opportunity to share insights, discuss upcoming events, and enjoy a picnic in the church grounds or nearby areas. Online registration closes on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 11:59 pm, with limited cashless entries available on the day subject to map availability and an additional £1 fee. About Aberlour

Aberlour is a town in Moray, Scotland, 12 miles (20 km) south of Elgin on the road to Grantown. The Lour burn is a tributary of the River Spey, and it and the surrounding parish are both named Aberlour, but the name is more commonly used in reference to the village which straddles the stream and flanks the Spey – although the full name of the village is Charlestown of Aberlour.
