The 50th Rekikawa Marathon ( 第50回礫川マラソン )

The 50th Rekikawa Marathon is an exclusive race that welcomes residents, students, and employees of Bunkyō ward, located in the heart of Tokyo. This year's edition takes place on November 29, offering participants several distance options tailored to all ages and skill levels.
For adults eager to challenge themselves over a longer course, there’s the main event: a scenic 9-kilometer route that winds through some of Bunkyō’s most picturesque neighborhoods. The race is designed to showcase the beauty and history of this vibrant district while providing runners with an invigorating experience along its well-maintained streets.
For younger participants aged three years or older, there's also a shorter but equally enjoyable 3-kilometer course that offers a taste of what competitive running feels like. Additionally, children from elementary school to middle school can participate in their own dedicated race for just ¥500.
