Tallaght AC 5K Road Race 2027

On March 17, 2027, the Annual St Patrick's Day 5K Race returns for its fifth consecutive year with a festive start at noon. This race is not just any run; it’s an integral part of Dublin’s vibrant St Patrick's Day festival and parade, drawing participants from across Ireland and beyond.
The event has consistently sold out in recent years, making early registration essential to secure your spot among the first 700 runners who will receive a commemorative T-shirt. The race is open to all age groups starting at 13 years old but only members of Dublin Athletics Club aged 19 or older are eligible for the Dublin Novice Championship.
Competitors can look forward to cash prizes for the top three male and female finishers, as well as first-place awards in master categories and junior divisions. An additional €100 bonus is up for grabs if any course records—currently standing at 15:07 for men and 16:48 for women—are shattered.
Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just starting out, the St Patrick's Day 5K offers an exhilarating mix of competition and celebration. Join the thousands who have already made this race an annual tradition in Dublin’s lively springtime festivities.
