SUMMER 48K 2026

About the Event

On December 5, 2026, the Summer 48k race takes place along the scenic coastline of Rio Grande Do Sul. This day-long event features two challenging courses: a grueling 48km route starting from Itapeva and winding through picturesque landscapes, as well as a more manageable yet still demanding 25km course that begins in Arroio do Sal.
Participants will gather early at the designated start points with the first runners setting off for the longer distance at 6:30 AM. As morning progresses, those tackling the shorter route begin their journey from 7:30 AM onwards. Both groups converge on the finish line located at Largo de eventos in Capão da Canoa's bustling center by the beachfront.
The race is open to all competitors who meet age requirements and can participate either solo or as part of a team comprising two runners for the shorter distance, or five members for both lengths. Each participant must complete their allocated segment without assistance from another athlete; any breaches result in disqualification.
A festive atmosphere surrounds this event with post-race celebrations planned until 12:30 PM when awards are handed out to victorious teams and individuals alike. For more details on registration, kit collection, or group inquiries, visit the official race website at www.summer48k.com.br or contact them via WhatsApp for exclusive group tickets.
