Stirling City Race SOUL

The FVO Urban Orienteering Challenge returns on November 8, 2026, offering runners the chance to explore Scotland's vibrant urban landscapes through an engaging mix of navigation and fitness. This event features standard Scottish Orienteering age categories for both men and women, allowing participants to choose any course out-of-class if they prefer, with options ranging from beginner-friendly routes to more challenging tracks.
The courses are designed primarily as TD3 levels, catering to a variety of skill sets, while Course 7 stands alone at the TD2 level. The terrain is relatively flat, ensuring that runners can focus on their navigation skills without significant elevation challenges.
Participants will navigate through meticulously planned urban environments, complete with intricate maps and checkpoints scattered throughout the cityscape. This event promises an exciting blend of mental acuity and physical endurance, set against the backdrop of Scotland's dynamic cities.
Registration includes access to all courses, allowing runners to experience different levels of difficulty within a single day. The exact lengths of each course are still being finalized by the planners and controllers but will be communicated closer to the event date.
Runners can expect an atmosphere that combines friendly competition with a strong sense of community, making this event ideal for both seasoned orienteers and newcomers alike.
