Join Saturn Running for an epic celebration marking the 50th anniversary of Star Wars—a saga that has captivated generations. Lace up your running shoes and immerse yourself in this special half-marathon, marathon, or ultra-distance challenge on May 16, 2027, at The Last Hop near Staines.
The event offers a flexible 7-hour time window for runners to complete their chosen distance along the scenic River Thames. With well-marked paths and tarmac surfaces, this course is perfect for all abilities, including young participants who can enjoy shorter distances like 3km or 5km laps. Members of UK Athletics-affiliated clubs receive an additional discount on entry fees.
The event features a vibrant aid station with snacks, drinks, and vegan options to keep you fueled throughout your run. Upon completing at least 3 kilometers, all finishers will receive themed medals celebrating the Star Wars theme. For those pushing beyond half-marathon distances, distance pins are available for achievements such as marathon or ultra runs.
After crossing the finish line, enjoy a well-deserved goody bag filled with treats and refreshments to help you recover from your run. The Last Hop provides basic facilities including toilets; however, there is no secure storage for personal items, so please keep valuables on hand.
