This urban trail run starts and ends at Scofflaw Brewing in Columbus, offering a picturesque backdrop of the Chattahoochee River from the Dragonfly Trail and the Columbus and Phenix City RiverWalk.
Runners will traverse diverse landscapes including bustling urban areas and serene natural settings like Oxbow Meadows, all while enjoying stunning views along the way. Three distance options cater to various levels of endurance: 25k, 50k, or the full marathon at 50 miles. With limited spots for only 100 runners, participants can expect a close-knit atmosphere fostering camaraderie throughout the event. Generous cutoff times ensure everyone has ample time to complete their chosen distance; 10 hours for the 50k and 14 hours for those tackling the 50-mile route.
Aid stations are strategically placed along the course, providing runners with essential Southern comfort food such as fried chicken, Georgia-grown watermelons, and sweet tea.
