South Downs 100 mile (Autumn Event)

The South Downs 100 Mile Race invites trail runners to explore the scenic beauty and rugged terrain of the South Downs National Park. Starting at Plumpton Racecourse, competitors embark on a single-loop course that stretches through rolling hills and offers breathtaking views along its challenging route. With over 12,000 feet of elevation gain, this grueling event features 12 aid stations to support runners as they navigate the demanding landscape.
The race is part of an emerging challenge known as the South Downs Triple Crown, which begins in 2025 and requires participants to complete three ultra-distance races within a calendar year. Runners can choose from four different variations of this ambitious series.
Free camping will be available on-site over the weekend for those who wish to make it a multi-day adventure. The event promises an immersive experience with its stunning scenery, challenging elevation changes, and supportive community atmosphere.
